Drusilla Moore joined the Sierra Madre Woman’s Club after her husband was killed in WWII.  She is an “accomplished woman” of her time.  Her household is managed beautifully, always clean and orderly.  She maintains her garden, and prepares delicious meals for her remaining family from its bounty. She sews her children’s fashionable clothes, knits, crochets, embroiders and quilts. Her soaring soprano is heard every Sunday with her church’s choir. She is outgoing and loves taking part in community activities (to get out of the house). She is donating some of her garden produce to the Woman’s Club for the thousands of chicken pie dinners that will be served to visitors attending the Wistaria Festival. Proceeds are used to support and improve Sierra Madre’s community life through cultural and educational activities.
