#36 The Unknown Scarecrow

Best Depiction of Life in Sierra Madre (Family)

A member of the Unknown Band, seen annually in the Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade, this scarecrow played too many wrong notes on his kazoo.  He is now doomed to march alone, his life a lonesome parade through the streets of Sierra Madre. On any given night, if you listen carefully, you will hear a plaintive moan, like the cry of a ghost. But it is not a ghost. It is the mournful song of the UNKNOWN SCARECROW.
