Drawing and Painting
123T DRAWING & PAINTING (ages 6-9)............................. Cathy Manzo
Tuesdays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This class has been designed to enhance and arouse the creativity within each child through the use of a variety of stimulating materials and specially planned projects while nurturing the natural development of children's drawing and painting through exploration of color, shape, line, and composition from the child's view.
Fee: $94.00 members --- $109.00 non-members

Ceramics and Sculpture

Beginning students will learn to throw on the potter's wheel while advanced students improve their wheel-throwing techniques. Glazing and decoration will be included as will some hand-building techniques.

126W TEEN WHEEL-THROWING (ages 12+)................. Debbie Schweiner
Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This class for teens will encompass all aspects of wheel-throwing. Beginning students will learn to throw on the potter's wheel while advanced students improve their wheel-throwing techniques. Glazing and decoration will be included.

127Th THE MUD SHOP (ages 5-8)....................................... Jeanne Lavieri
Thursdays, 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hand-building techniques including pinch, coil, and slab will be incorporated into a variety of sculptural forms, plus a project appropriate to the season will be presented. All pieces will be glazed and fired. Wheel-throwing will be demonstrated.

Other Artistic Expressions
*128Th MIXED MEDIA (ages 6-14)....................................... Cathy Manzo
Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This 6-week class will introduce students to a variety of media and techniques while creating 3 works of art using a vast array of materials. Two printing techniques and methods of creating three-dimensional work will be taught. Using their imaginations, students will create fabulous box animals, printed cards, and wire armature figures covered with special modeling clay.
Fee: $75.00 members --- $90.00 non-members

Wow! It's here - a class just for you and your favorite people, one you design yourself. Here's all you need to do to make that happen: 1) Gather together and register at least 8 individuals, 2) tell us what you would like to take, and 3) let us know the time you would like the class to meet - morning, afternoon, or evening. That's it, we'll do the rest. You can select something from this brochure or something of your own choosing. Time and faculty restrictions may apply because of regularly scheduled classes and teachers' schedules, but we'll work around that. Give the office a call for more information 626-355-8350.
