The Scarecrow Festival is a free and fun fall event that celebrates the creativity of the community through the display of unique scarecrow creations.

 

Each year, Creative Arts Group volunteers come together to prepare candy scarecrows and scarecrow kits that are provided free to the community. Businesses and families take part by building their creations.

 

Visitors can enjoy strolling through town to admire the imaginative and whimsical scarecrows on display.

 

The festival runs from the end of September through most of October and ends in a vote on the favorite scarecrows.

Last year over 100 scarecrows decorated homes and businesses throughout Sierra Madre. Winners in both business and residential categories were tallied based on Facebook likes and paper ballots. Thanks to everyone for getting in the seasonal spirit!
