This sweet doe was right outside my window, enjoying the sweet peas and other flowers in my garden. I have worked hard, through trial and error, to find plants that she and her family will not eat! I paint outdoors and in studio doing landscapes and still lifes. I am inspired by the California Realism movement that is so prevalent now. My paintings reflect my enjoyment of the beauty all around us, stepping away from the noise and confusion. I work from life, responding to what I see and experience.
