A Habitat for Humanity community was recently built under the Colorado Street Bridge. It is a beautiful peaceful neighborhood, reflecting the pride of ownership of its residents. I paint outdoors and in studio doing landscapes and still lifes. I am inspired by the California Realism movement that is so prevalent now. My paintings reflect my enjoyment of the beauty all around us, stepping away from the noise and confusion. I work from life, responding to what I see and experience.
