Crow with the Pearl Earring

Created by

Rica

At the beginning of fall, there was a crow flying through the beautiful city of Sierra Madre. She saw that many scarecrows were coming into town for the annual scarecrow festival. A bit frightened, she looked for a place to hide to ensure that the scarecrows would not shoo her away. The first place that caught her eye was Mission: Rennaissance Fine Art Classes. She saw that the students study and practice the techniques of the masters. So she thought to herself, " Hmmm,
I could disguise myself as one of these famous paintings. No one will find me then!" After going through the work of many master artists, she chose to disguise herself as a painting that has been studied by countless Mission: Renaissance students, The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. She wrapped herself in the beautiful blues and golds that were brilliantly used by Vermeer, put on the iconic jewelry, and became The Crow with the Pearl Earring.
