Kristen Erickson

Kristen Erickson is a ceramic artist and educator based in Pomona, CA. She produces functional vessels, sculptural works, and interactive gallery and museum projects that focus on public engagement, education, and collaboration. Her process is exploratory, driven both by curiosity and the visceral act of making itself. With the experience of 2 years as a carpenter's apprentice, 18 years of working in clay, a BFA in Environmental Art from Otis College Of Art + Design, and a background in architecture, Kris has a diverse skill set that continues to push her work in new directions.
