Rachel Venezia Craig

Rachel has a 23 year background in Design and 15 years of Art Teaching experience.  Coaching students how to see and enjoy the process of creating art is at the heart of her teaching style.  As a graduate of Cal State Northridge, she studied Art, Art History, Architecture and Interior Design.  Seeking a more classical approach, she took classes at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art (LAAFA) and private lessons under the guidance of Ryan Wurmser and Daniel Gerhartz.  She is also a Certified Instructor in the Michael Wilcox School of Colour.  After teaching for 7 years at a well known children’s art program, she opened up her own art studio in Old Town Pasadena.  In 2020, the classes moved online and continue to reach students from all over the country.  Currently she teaches adults and children both online and in person.
