the art of Nathan Murrell
July 22 - August 29
We are excited to host the work of Nathan Murrell in the Jameson Gallery.

Nathan is a maker of things...

"If I were to put a finer point on it, I consider myself a mixed media artist and potter. I have a BFA from SIUE and an MFA from UMASS Dartmouth, both in ceramics. Since graduating from UMASS in 2006 I have more or less consistently made my living making things. I worked as a bookbinder in Rhode Island for the better part of a decade and simultaneously started selling my work at local indie art fairs and open markets. Slowly I built my own business until it was my full-time job, exhibiting at fine art festivals across the country."
Please visit the gallery to see the work and learn more!
Object Shelves
Like many artists my studio and home are filled with found objects that I am curious about and that inspire me. In this installation I have brought some of the little collections and shrines that I have dotted around my studio, many of which inspired the work in this show.
