Jeannine Savedra

Jeannine is an L.A. painter and art educator with over twenty years of professional experience. She was born in Los Angeles where she received formal art training at Otis Art Institute, Parsons School of Design and California State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art for Drawing and Painting, an Art Teaching Credential and a Master of Arts degree in Humanities. Throughout the many years of working as a plein air painter, art teacher and restoration artist she has garnered a comprehensive knowledge and versatility with color, brushwork and style that distinguishes her approach to painting. Currently she spends much of her time painting outdoors and in the studio where she is likely restoring a work of art or putting the final touches on a painting for an upcoming exhibition. Jeannine’s inspiration to paint is often found in nature’s visceral beauty; it provides her with endless compositions to paint and countless color combinations to interpret.
